Former Director of Leasing at First Potomac Realty Trust, David Colvin, Joins Verity

David will focus on landlord and tenant representation advisory services at Verity.

Prior to joining Verity, David was Director of Leasing at First Potomac Realty Trust which focused on owning, operating, developing, and redeveloping office and business park properties in the greater Washington, DC region. David managed lease space of up to 4 million-square-feet in 58 buildings throughout Northern Virginia, consisting of multi-story office, single-story office, flex, and industrial.

He began his local career 20 years ago at Prince William County Department of Economic Development as Business Development Manager. There he assisted the department in expanding the commercial tax base and job opportunities for its citizens through the attraction of new businesses and the retention and expansion of existing businesses.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in economics and geography at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is also a member of NAIOP – Northern Virginia Chapter.
