Verity’s Charles Mann, along with over a dozen other guests speakers, delivered messages of hope and encouragement at The 04/04/2018 National Initiative to Observe the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Assassination. The observance took place at Shepherd Park in Washington, DC on April 4, 2018 from 3PM to 6:30PM.
The observance reflected on Dr. King’s legacy and focused on restoring strength in our nation. Through love and empowerment, the observance sought to encourage participants to redirect their service efforts toward social justice issues, such as economic equity, affordable housing, and education, to impact underserved populations.
Participants enjoyed hearing from student survivors, guest speakers, political influencers, faith leaders, and entertainment artists.
