Verity worked with Intercell throughout their entire business cycle, from young start-up through acquisition and ultimately facility disposition. We provided tenant representation and construction management services, advising on their growth from 5,000- to 75,000-sf in a two-building campus. The growth phasing included corporate offices, laboratories, and two cGMP manufacturing facilities. In early 2011, Intercell’s European parent company moved this facility to Europe. Again, Intercell turned to us to assist in the disposition. We marketed the facility throughout the East Coast and located a local vaccine manufacturing company, Novavax. Working closely with both Novavax and Intecell, we assisted them in structuring a sublease to prime lease that ultimately saved Intercell over $2.5 million over the remainder of its lease term.
“Beyond his comprehensive real estate and construction skills, I have found Herman to be firm, straightforward, and fair in his representation of our needs with landlords and general contractors. He has earned the respect of those he represents as well as landlords and general contractors alike.” — Merv Hamer, Director of Operations, Intercell USA
